Ice out at Loveless Lake was May 7, the latest in 33 years of scorekeeping, according to the most recent newsletter. (Last year, it was March 20 , second earliest.)
It has been a cruel spring and yet-to-appear summer. Gloomy, rainy, cold. Hence, I present another blog redesign. It’s about the only creative work for Loveless that has been done in months.
But the free fishing weekend will be upon us in a few days (i.e., no license required), and Chris and I are making plans to try to lure some friends to the lake and hook up a worm or two.
